KATHERINE GALVIN CLOTWORTHY, 84, passed away peacefully, Sept. 6, 2010. Beloved wife of William; cherished mother of Chris, Shawn and Tim; dear grandmother of Aidan, Linus and Du Hua; devoted sister of Martin, Donald, Michael, John and Sheila Galvin Roney (all of whom preceded her in death) as well as of her step-siblings, Steven DuBrul, Richard DuBrul, Nancy DuBrul Kaltoff (deceased) and Mimi DuBrul Settles. Additionally, she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Mrs. Clotworthy recieved her B.A. from Marygrove College in Michigan in 1944. She went on to work as a writer in the Eisenhower White House. She will be dearly missed. Friends may join the family for a memorial service at 11 a.m. Sept. 17 at the chapel of Ingleside, 3050 Military Rd NW. Reception to follow.
