Obituary of Ursula Emma Marie Keyl

On September 30, 2013, Ursula Emma Marie Keyl, of Glen Burnie,MD died at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center of complications from Alzheimer's Desease. Mrs. Keyl was born in the Hartz Mountain Region of northern Germany and raised in St. Andreasberg, Germany. In 1971 she moved to the United States and raised her family. She was educated in Germany and obtained a 4 year college degree, when she moved to America she worked as a Claims Adjuster for various insurance companies, most recently for Allstate. She was also an artist and her work, fine painting on glass, is known as "Emma's Art," and has been exhibited at The White House and the Preakness Race and was highlighted in "Southern Living" magazine. Besides her art she enjoyed world travel, music, dancing and a glass of a good red wine. Her survivors include her husband Joachim (John) C. Keyl, a son, Lutz Cochrane, of Green Bay, WI; two daughters, Bianca Rizzo of Virginia Beach, VA and Ramona L. Lohrmann of Pasadena, MD.
