Obituary of Michael O. Emretane

On Thursday November 28, 2013, Michael O. Emretane Jr., Age 34, of Germantown, MD. and formerly of Washington, DC. A Loss prevention officer with UPS, he attended Montgomery College, Prince Georges Community College and University of Maryland. He was studying to become a pharmacist. Michael was a young man of compassion. He was simple, very respectful and certainly had a gentle spirit. Some additional words to describe him, hardworking, loving, and giving and the list goes on. One of his greatest attributes was his enormous and contagious smile that would brighten up a dull spirit. He was a great father who was fully invested in his children's lives. In the words of his daughter Danielle, "He lets us (Michael & I) play all together. He is the best dad ever! He takes us shopping, he buys us new bikes when old one were broken then takes us bike riding all the time. He is funny, loving, caring and fun. He tickles me and lifts me up." He is survived by his beloved wife, Nadia Brice. Children, Michael Emretane III (age 9) and Danielle Emretane (age 7). Parents, Michael Emretane, Jessica Oke Mac Asore and Mr. & Mrs. Igere. Siblings, Lovette Ogunojemite, Stanley Emretane, Christa Smith, Lawrence Igere, Augustine Igere, Anthony Igere Jr, Catherine Igere, Onome Emretane, Atori Emretane, Onajomo Emretane and Tega Emretane. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at 11am at the Capital Memorial Church at 3150 Chesapeake Street NW, Washington DC. 20008.
