Obituary of Wade S. Jernigan

Wade S. Jernigan of Bowie, Maryland, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 16, 2013 after a long struggle with Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease. Survived by his wife, Millie; son, James; daughter, Rebecca; brother William and sister-in-law Brenda of Hampton, Virginia; brother Steven of Alexandria, Virginia; and niece, Crystal of Knoxville, Tennessee; preceded by his sister Michele. A service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, January 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Oak United Methodist Church, 14110 Mount Oak Road, Mitchellville, Maryland 20721. A repast will follow at the church. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to either the U.C.
