Obituary of Ryan Gregory Bern

Ryan Gregory Bern age 35, passed away on Sunday August 17, 2014 of a sudden acute illness at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. Beloved son of Gregory and Mary Bern, grandson of Henry R Quintero (Marilyn), nephew of Charles R Bern, Dr. Rick Q Wilson (Mintra), James M Quintero, Hilary Giffin (Dan), Cassie Taggart and cousins Carole, Kevin, Ajna, Sivan, Liam, Lindsey and many relatives and friends. Ryan was born December 12, 1978 in Silver Spring, MD. He graduated from Gonzaga College High School in 1997. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Elon University in 2002. Ryan helped run the family business until 2010, and he worked at Darcars Collision Centers in Silver Spring and Rockville, MD. He was an avid local sports fan. He was a caring friend and always left you laughing. Everyone loved Ryan. He will be deeply missed by his many friends, co-workers, and family. A memorial service and mass will be 11:30am Friday September 5, 2014 at St John the Evangelist Church 10103 Georgia Avenue Silver Spring, MD 20902. Following the service, there will be a reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall 9707 Rosensteel Avenue Silver Spring, MD 20910. Interment will be at a later date, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in Ryan's name to Gonzaga College High School 19 Eye Street, NW Washington, DC 20001.
