I would like to express my sympathy to Mary Ann's family and friends. After meeting Mary Ann at Georgetown more than 30 years ago, she became a close friend who shared many common interests. When I moved into Mary Ann's house, life no longer revolved around studying, but studying was fit in among all kinds of other activities. Mary Ann was involved in many facets of life. She taught me how to sail on
Narragansett Bay and we attended many theatrical performances in Providence, RI. She was bright, fun, kind, loved French, books, cooking and was a talented artist. She was engaged in life and her energy and enthusiasm inspired many people.
