Obituary of Usa Vallisubhand Yamockul

Usa Vallisubhand Yamockul, daughter of Omsund and Saiyud Vallisubhand, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Casey House (Montgomery Hospice). Usa was born July 29, 1936, in Bangkok, Thailand and was the youngest of three children. Usa attended Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand before coming to United States to acquire a degree in Hotel Management.  She had a loved both, the United States and Thailand and had traveled between the 2 countries for more than 40 years.  The majority of Usa's time in United States was spent working at the Visa office at the World Bank. She will playfully be remembered as "Speedy Thai Road Runner." Usa enjoyed volunteering and studied Buddhism. She loved helping people and animals in need. Her highest achievement in life was raising her three children on her own. She is survived by her three children, Samaporn Pengchareon, Sunchai Yamockul, and Sorat Harpell, four grand children, Nopparat Wanlisupan, Pakawadee Pengchareon, Narissara Pengchareon, and Josephine Ada Harpell.  A cremation service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at Chesapeake Crematory 10771 Tucker Street, Beltsville, MD 20705  Donations may be made to SPCA International, Global Animal Rescue at https://www.spcai.org/donate
