Obituary of Erica Lynn Baadzhi

It is with great sadness that the family of Erica Tubbs Baddzhi announces her passing after a 3 1/2 year battle with cancer. Erica passed away on Tuesday, May 1st 2018, at the age of 43, in Washington DC. Erica will be forever remembered by her husband Mikhail (Misha), her young son Alexander, by her parents Milo and Joan Tubbs, and brother Ryan. Erica lived a life of service to others through her work at PACT. In the words of a colleague, "Erica strove for excellence, for pushing the margins, and was driven by her passion for bringing hope to peoples lives." She touched countless people with her love and inspiration. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 19th 2018, 1-3pm at Jane E Lawton Community Center 4301 Willow Lane, Chevy Chase, MD. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Erica's name to METAVIVOR, Where 100% of your donation goes toward supporting grants for metastatic breast cancer.
