Obituary of Wilhelm Teser

Mr. Wilhelm Teser, 75, of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed peacefully in his sleep at Holy Cross Hospice as he lost his battle with cancer on January 22, 2019. Wilhelm is survived by his wife of 45 years, Hung Chen (Lisa) and their daughter Nicole. His friends and all of his grand dogs, which he treated as grandchildren, will miss him. Wilhelm was born in Vienna, Austria in 1943 but grew up in the Alps of Tirol post war. He immigrated to the United States in his twenties. He had a busy career as a Mercedes Benz master mechanic with clients from all over the Washington, DC area. He was a welterweight boxer and raced motorcycles in his youth. He received a second lease on life from his dual liver and kidney transplant in 2005 that he lived fully until his recent diagnosis. He loved the outdoors, animals, and watching football and motorcycle racing. Most of all he loved the Alps and it's culture. A memorial will be held at one of his favorite locations, Brookside Gardens, in the spring.
