Obituary of Linda Lee Arvin

                                                  Linda L. Arvin MS, LCPC
Linda L. Arvin of Cape Coral,Florida; Rockville, Maryland; and Stella Maris, Long Island,
Bahamas passed away peacefully on July 23, 2021 at Georgetown University Hospital of
complications from pancreatitis. She was born May 12, 1952 in York, Pennsylvania to Paul and
Mary Honsermyer, Jr. She did her undergraduate work in Special Education at George
Washington University and continued to get a Masters in counseling from Johns Hopkins. She
loved new adventures, learning, her family, her cats, her friends, and the hundreds of clients
who she helped over her 35 year career.
She is survived by her husband Daniel Hitchcock; her two children Melissa Arvin of Bethesda,
Maryland, and Michael Arvin, of Oakland, California; her siblings Judy Rasor of Orlando, Florida
and Paul Honsermyer III of York, Pennsylvania; her many friends spread out over several
countries; and her clients, all of whom carry small pieces of her spirit in their hearts.
