Obituary of John J Knab

John Knab died on January 22, 2023, at his home in Great Falls, with his loving family buy his side. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1941. He was the loving husband to Elizabeth McCaffrey Knab, beloved father of. and father to David (Rebekah) and Dr. Brian Knab (Allison) and Julie Knab Purcell (Dr.Ian Purcell)., and Grandfather to Caroline and Ryan Knab and Clara and Evelyn Knab and puppies Sushi and Stevie Purcell puppies Sushi and Stevie Purcell. He Graduated from Roger Bacon High School in Cincinnati and then attended the University of Cincinnati receiving his MBA in Electrical Engineering, and then a PhD. From the Stevens institute of technology in New Jersey, in Electrical Engineering. He was a true patriot and serving during Vietnam, he was stationed at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. John went on to work for the Department of Defense for almost forty years. He had a passion for math, reading, and music. He had an amazing knowledge of things he read, heard or saw He will be missed. He was active at Andrew Chapel Methodist Church in the Vienna, VA. A Life well lived.
