Obituary of Deborah Yeagley

 

Deborah Mary Yeagley (maiden name Middledorf), 64, of College Park, Maryland, passed away on Sunday May 14th, from cancer complications, peacefully in her sleep.

Debbie was born October 31st, 1958 in Hyattsville, Maryland, the daughter of Christian Middledorf and Hazel Middledorf (maiden name Strippy.)

She graduated from Elizabeth Seton High School in 1976, then went on to Brigham Young University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Education.

Debbie married Kenneth Yeagley on September 23, 1989, in Silver Spring, and had four daughters, Emily, Natalie, Erin, and Katharine.

She worked as an Administrative Assistant at University of Maryland, and loved her job and coworkers.

Debbie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and enjoyed serving under her various callings. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family, going for power walks, and serving at her church.

Remaining to cherish Debbie’s memory are spouse, Kenneth; children, Emily, Natalie, Erin, Katie; brothers, Carl, Joe, Dave, Mike; sisters, Donna, Mary; dear friend Darlene, and many others.

Funeral/Memorial services will be held May 20th 2023 at 12pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 7200 Contee Road, Laurel MD, 20707. 

Memorial donations in Debbie’s memory may be directed to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.
