Obituary of Bonnie Lee Groves

Bonnie Lee Groves died 8/3/2013 at the age of 87 in Bethesda, MD of natural causes. Beloved wife of the late Ira Oliver Groves, mother of the late Wayne Oliver Groves, Waldo Wetzel Groves, Richard Lee Groves and sister of the late Youvonne Hurst and Earl Jackson Legg. She is survived by sons William Frederick Groves and Darrell Julian Groves, sister Anna Faye McClung and brother "Bill" William Buster Legg, 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bonnie was born in Greenbrier County, WV on June 16, 1926 and lived in Rockville, MD from 1959 to present. She was a long-time member of Wildwood Baptist Church in Bethesda, MD. A memorial service will be held at Wildwood Baptist Church, 10200 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD 20814 on Monday, August 5th at 2pm. A viewing will be held at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home, 213 Main Street, Rainelle, WV 25962 on Wednesday, August 7th from 7pm-9pm and funeral services will be held at Meadow Grove Baptist Church, Dawson, WV on Thursday, August 8th, 11am. Interment will be at The End of the Trail Cemetery, in Lewisburg, WV. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wildwood Baptist Church, 10200 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD 20814.
