Obituary of Baron Gage Cronin

Baron Gage Cronin, born August 28, 1961, of West Wind Farm, Delanson, NY, Panama, Central America and Silver Spring, MD., died March 6, 2014. Son of Capt. Wm J. Cronin and Dr Shirley Elliott Gage, beloved brother of Orion Cronin Hyson, Deirdre Gage Cronin, Jo Lan Cronin Bates, Jen Lan Cronin Boyer and Darrow Gage Cronin, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A distinguished veteran of the US Air Force and the New York Air National Guard, Baron served in Iraq, and around the world. He was most proud of his work in the humanitarian assistance to the people of Azerbaijan and with the National Science Foundation in Greenland and Antarctica. Recently, Baron was devoted to the development of "Operation Bright Star," his vision for an innovative, comprehensive and compassionate rehabilitation community for wounded veterans, in the natural, healthy and spectacularly beautiful setting of a working ranch. A memorial celebration of Baron's life will be held at St Columba's Episcopal Church of Washington, DC, Saturday March 15, 2014 at 2 PM.
