Dear Ruth & Family,
So sorry to hear about George. He was a fighter to the end. George hired me in 1977 to move down to Mississippi in support of his ICAPS Project. George was my mentor. I traveled the world with him -- selling, installing, and training on ICAPS. He took pride in supporting the operational Navy and made us never loose sight of who our customer was. I remember visiting your home several time -- always gracious and friendly -- and the time a bottle of George's...

Dear Ruth and family, I was so saddened to learn of George's passing. I so enjoyed our time as coffee hour partners. I found Mr. Hanssen to be a kind, gentle, generous soul with an endearing smile. I always appreciated when he told me that he enjoyed my reading of scripture during our worship.Mr. Hanssen was a true gentleman. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family during this painful time. I will keep you in my prayers. Your church family at St. James was so blessed to have...

Dear Ruth and family,
I was so sad to get the news of Uncle George's passing.(You know he will always be Uncle Jimmy in my heart!) I know that I don't need to tell you how great a man he was. He was the master of the Hanssen family that informed us and educated us with all the history of our family. We were so fortunate to have him in our lives and will now have a empty hole in our hearts. I will continue to cherish the copies I have of different family histories. Also all the pictures...

Ruth and family,
I am so sorry to hear of George's passing! I know you'll miss him very much. George was the grandson of my grandmother's oldest brother, so we were distant cousins. We helped each other to fill in the Hanssen family tree branch for our descendants. George loved his family and was a kind, sharing person. I'm certain that he'll be remembered fondly by many friends and family.

Dear Ruthie and Family. Dad (Ezra Jones) and I want you to know how saddened we were to hear of Uncle George's passing. I tried to stay in touch and always enjoyed any contact we had. It is still hard to call him George as most of my life he was Uncle Jim. He was a young boy when Dad joined the Hansson family and said he was the closest to George. His trips back to Iowa were the best to us kids as he was a fun uncle. Dad and I both send our sympathy to all of you. His struggle is over...
