Obituary of Dolores Gertrude Askins

Mrs. Dolores Gertrude Askins passed away suddenly on the evening of October 14, 2015. Dolores was born March 25, 1951 in Washington DC. She grew up in Takoma Park, MD. She enjoyed sharing time with family and loved her Beagle Kenny, Husky Missy and her birds. She will be truly missed. Preceding her in death are her parents Mr. and Mrs. Walter Craver; sisters, Mary Craver, Helen Higgs, Alicia Craver; and brother, Walter Craver. Surviving to cherish her memory are three sons Michael Steven Wilt, Charles Brian Wilt and Edward Anthony Askins of Silver Spring MD; sisters, Bernadette Craver, Bernadine Craver, Joan Paseur and Louise Guard. Nieces and nephews are Stephanie, Lena, Lana, Kimberly, Olivia, Kevin, Garrett, Joey, Richard; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial Services for Dolores Craver Wilt Askins will be held 6 to 8p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Heffner Park Community Center 42 Oswego Avenue Takoma Park, MD 20912.
