Obituary of George Gibbons Emert

On June 5, 2016 George Gibbons Emert died in his home in Bethesda, Maryland. George was born in El Paso, Texas and served in the U.S. Army. He received a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for the U.S. government for most of his career. He was preceded in death by his brothers William Amos Emert and Allan David Emert. He is survived by his wife Grace Elaine Emert, Bethesda, MD, his brother Cleyborn Eugene Emert and his sisters Laura Joan Emert and Nora Fay Downey all of El Paso, Texas. George was a long time member of the Washington Ethical Society and the Unitarian Church.
