Obituary of Eugene Cea

Eugene (Gene) Cea of Gaithersburg, Maryland passed away on September 10, 2016 at the Montgomery County Hospice's Casey House. He is survived by his two daughters: Kathy (Ken) and Deborah (Ashish), as well as a brother, sister, and numerous other family members and friends. Gene held degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering from Iona College, New York University, and Columbia University. He worked as an Engineer in scientific computing for Sperry Rand for 18 years, then as an Electronics Engineer for the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C. for almost 20 years. He was an avid horse racing enthusiast and a sports fan. In his earlier days, Gene enjoyed bowling and played on a number of leagues. He spent his last ten years living at the Kentlands Manor community and enjoyed socializing with his "breakfast group". Service will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice's Casey House.
