Obituary of Giovanni Giordano

Giovanni Giordano, age 74, of Mount Airy, Maryland passed away peacefully on December 12th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Gianni is survived by his wife, Maria, and children, Santo (Erica), Sapienza (Sean), and Maria and their five beautiful grandchildren and his brothers and sister.

Gianni was a beloved fixture in the Bethesda community during his 40 years at Vince & Dominic’s Pizzeria. He had a heart full of love, humor, generosity and laughter. We are grateful to so many who have shared their fond memories. He is remembered as a compassionate leader and mentor to staff who worked at Vince and Domenic's and his support and understanding helped many as they experienced life's challenges. He is missed but his light shines on.

To honor Giovanni’s memory, we are holding a celebration of life on Monday, December 19 at 10:30 AM at North Bethesda United Methodist Church at 10100 Old Georgetown Road Bethesda, MD. We invite all to attend and remember him.
