Obituary of Daniel Orozco

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel Alfredo Orozco to the presence of our Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at 3:19PM at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He was 61 years old, and will be forever remembered as a highly esteemed member of the church, and community.

Daniel Alfredo Orozco held many titles in his life, from jokester to church leader, but his favorite title was dad. He loved nothing more than spending time with his children, and grandchildren. Sunday’s were reserved for church and family time. He was always there for them, whether he was giving them Godly wisdom and advice or cheering them on at their various activities. Daniel was born in Managua, Nicaragua on May 29th 1962. Above all, Daniel was a man deeply loved by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His passing leaves us with a great void that will not be filled, his memory will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to have met him.

On Saturday, February 24th, the family will receive friends at 11:00 AM at the Gaithersburg Chinese Alliance Church, 13101 Darnestown Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20878, where a Going Home Celebration will be held at 12Noon.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, All Souls Cemetery, 11401 Brink Road, Germantown, MD 20876.
